Our Founders

Rute Ferrier · WSET Level 3 in Wines (Merit)

Rute grew up between Portugal and Macau, then spent 25 years working across the UK and Europe. Hossio is the thread back. She now splits her time between England and Portugal.

At Hossio she sets the strategic direction and runs the day-to-day: standards, vineyard decisions, every release. A natural host, she believes wine is at its best when shared, thoughtfully and without hurry.

James is a sustainability finance specialist with a global career spanning Europe and the United States. His work is grounded in long-term thinking and practical stewardship.
